C&A Initiative for Social Development
C&A accepts their responsibility to be a good corporate citizen. Their aim is to help people to help themselves make a difference to their lives - their efforts therefore concentrate on supporting the underprivileged, in particular children, sponsoring and financing related projects in many countries. The primary goals are to support sustainable development and create long-term prospects.

In 1996 C&A set up an organisation which works with local partners to support educational and health projects. Now the C&A Initiative for Social Development (C.I.S.D.) is responsible for developing and implementing a variety of sustainable projects to help less fortunate people - now and in future.
